In March 2022, in honor of his mother’s passing, Dale built a fire and
tended it for a week. When the week was over, he began building daily
fires, a project which grew to become a daily message of beauty, hope,
and persistence to nearly 200 people — whom he texted daily, personally,
one by one.
The amount of effort and care he put into these fires — DAILY — is astonishing.
