About the Artists

Binda Colebrook (she/her)  is an artist and a psychotherapist who lives in Northampton MA.
In my multi-disciplinary art practice, I create vessels, both real and metaphorical, that invite the viewer into deeper relationship with Self and with the more than human world. My drawings, objects, installations and videos aim to awaken sensory play and to slow Being down so as to support shifting into the reciprocal We space. Through the power of centering creative aliveness in one’s life, my dreaming is that when we are all in our centers, we will recognize that we are in a shared, constantly emergent dance with all living beings.

Jenny Katz (she/her) is a musician and designer who also lives in Northampton.
My father is a professional jazz pianist, so growing up I learned that listening, improvising, and playing off each other are the key verbs in a vivid life. For me, the artifacts that come into being while creating art and music are secondary to the experience of making. I care less about “meaning” than I do about being alive in the moment, tuning myself toward whatever it is I’m sensing and playing with. To that end, last year I published Emergent, an oracle deck to help people come into conversation with creative energy. Ultimately, what I love most is the sensation of participating in this wild, improvised, ordinary, unpredictable, ubiquitous, shared song.
